My wife and I met Jessie Richards in Georgia last Spring at a retriever handler/trainer workshop hosted by Mike Lardy. Having been around many pro trainers and “dog people” over the years it was clear to us that Jessie possessed that rare quality – a special way of interacting with her dog- that sets the great dog trainers apart from everyone else. Jessie has a real talent for working with dogs!

I would not buy or train a lab with anyone else.
After saying good-bye to our Chocolate Lab of 13 years, I didn’t think that we would be in the mindset for a new lab anytime soon. A good friend of mine recommend that I talk with Jessie about one of her “started labs” and the differences between that and a puppy. Within the first 5 minutes of our conversation, you could feel her passion for dogs and really took to understanding what would work great for our family. After a couple conversations and pictures, we decided to get one of her started labs, a 18 month old black lab named Bear. Jessie and her family were extremely accommodating, Bear was training in South Georgia with Jessie and she worked it out where her parents would drive him back up to Wisconsin. Bear has been everything that she said he was, he is a great family dog and fantastic hunter. My 9 and 7 year old children found a new best friend that has the temperament to put up with all of the hunting, playing, wrestling, and cuddling.
I would highly recommend Jessie and Full Throttle Kennel. I would not buy or train a lab with anyone else.
